Community Involvement

As a small local business, we believe it’s important to be actively involved in our local community and to give back where possible. This includes the development and sponsorship of our own industry - the tree industry.

Tree FX is a small business sponsor of the VTIO (Victorian Tree Industry Organisation). We support the development of arborists and our arboricultural community. This support helps to improve policies and standards for everyone.

We have some selected charities we support each year. One of which is the ‘Circus Quirkus’, an initiative where Tree FX sponsors a few children to attend a Circus event that is put on each year for kids in circumstances whereby, they may not normally get the opportunity to attend such events.

We donate to the Royal Children’s Hospital appeal each year as we know firsthand the importance of not only children’s health and wellbeing, but the support provided to families of sick kids by organisations such as the RCH.

Tree FX is a major sponsor of the Montrose Football and Netball Club and are featured on the front of the Junior teams training shirts. Montrose is our local club and it has a great family community and we are very proud to be the solo jumper sponsor.

We are often approached to help with school working bees, and community garden and community house working bees. We often provide free mulch and will freely provide tree and risk assessment for such organisations.

Tree FX have been providing free school tree safety checks and relevant advice for years and have many schools on our database that we work closely with to ensure safe grounds for students, teachers and parents.

Every year as individuals we attend the Planet Ark annual tree planting day, it’s a great initiative to ensure the long-term viability of our local green spaces and the improvement of habitat for our local fauna and flora and preservation of these important spaces.

We have an open-door policy for international travelling arborists to join our team whenever possible. In line with our commitment to lifelong learning, we love sharing tree knowledge with the traveling arborists to continue to improve the team’s skills and knowledge whilst sharing our experiences with them too - thus creating a reciprocal ongoing learning environment for all.
